Supra’s message + other components: (Topic: World Vision)

• There was a skit regarding world vision. Actors: Jeremy. Actress: Elaine. (They were “short people”) – Part 1

• A video of the Bengalaru mission/CIP trip was played – background music piece: People Need the Lord

• Supra started to deliver his message

• Introduced his family and called the unity of him and his wife “Chindian” in nature

• He prayed for God to speak to the audience – listen to God

• He talked about a conversation with his 3 children regarding understanding his and mom’s thoughts

• Get feedback from his children on how to make mom happy e.g. clean up room

• When the children understood and obeyed mom and dad, they will be happy

• This happiness is similar to the how God feels when we follow what is on the Abba Father’s heart.

• “This is my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased” – talked about the context behind this statement

• He explained world vision by focusing on understanding what is on the Abba Father’s heart

• He is committed to bring joy to God’s heart, and encouraged the audience to do likewise

• The word “nation” is on Abba Father’s heart

• Talked about People group e.g. the Yunnan tribe in China, etc.

• “God chose and blessed one person to bring the nations back to himself” – that person is Abraham

• Started with this one man, and through him blessed the 1^st nation, Israel

• Want the world to discover Abba Father through Israel, but failed

• That is why He has chosen to use the “Spiritual Israel” – Us!

• If you really want to please the Abba Father, follow God’s desire and bring the nations back to him – discipling the nations, heart for the nations

• Matthew 28:19-20 – Great commission

• “If a church is not involved in people, it has missed its mission”

• Make disciples of ALL nations

• Last words are lasting words, and the Great commission was delivered just before He ascended to heaven – this makes the commission VERY important

• World Vision is all about discipling nations, bringing the nations back to Him

• Story: A dying mother revealed the secret location of a hidden jewellery to her close kin – son. Very important information before passing away

• People may assume that the great commission is only relevant to the disciples, but the commission stated ALL, not just the disciples

• If you are not involved in discipling people and bringing people into God’s Kingdom, you have missed the boat and not fulfilled what is on the Abba Father’s heart

• Screened a video in a Hawaiian setting (Transformation Hawaii) – United in Prayer through Prayer Evangelism (marketplace ministry).

• One amazing fact from the video: the youths and children carried the cross around the Island of Hawaii, claiming the island for Jesus. God can use the “mustard seed people” – the kids – to bring glory to His Kingdom

• Schools, businesses and other components of the marketplace made God the central focus, and their goal was to pray and bring the nation of Hawaii back to God

• Supra asked the audience what they were impressed with after viewing the video:

• Responses: “Churches worked in unity”, “impressed with the way the marketplace of Hawaii made prayer the main focus, dedicating a lot of time praying for the nation of Hawaii”. “Each of us should start by taking ownership over the sphere of people around us, e.g. home, workplace etc.”

• Talked about Acts 1:8

• Where is YOUR Jerusalem? Answer: HOME e.g. parents!

• Where is your Samaria? Answer: School!

• Where is your Judea? Answer: the nation (just a suggestion)

• Bring this to a practical level: Is there a particular country you really desire to go to? Ask the Lord

• Supra’s sharing: He initially kept running away from the idea of going to India and wanted to go Sarawak, and made plans to go to his desired place. Eventually, he did not carry those ideal plans out and went to India instead.

• Supra invited everyone to pray the following prayer of declaration.

• Prayer of Declaration: “We declare that the Kingdom of God is here and within me. Jesus is the campus president and director. We invite you, Holy Spirit, for your presence and manifestation, kingdom and authority over the lecture theatres, tutorials, halls, canteens, even toilets. We declare your authority over the NUS management, over the senior leaders, over the tutors, over the canteen owners and helpers, over the administrators, the students within the campus. We declare the Your Kingdom being in us, and so we will bring your Kingdom wherever we go. Amen.”
