I hope the run up to recess week finds you well! There are 3 short issues that I wish to inform you about:

1) Nav Media S’pore Pte Ltd is having our Year End Warehouse Sales
14th November 2009 (9am – 8pm)
16-20th November 2009 (9am -6pm)

Great time to shop for your Christmas gifts!

2) There will be packing of Nav store on Monday recess week at 10am. We Need volunteers to help move stuff from 10am (till about 12noon) from YIH to the new societies holding area. Meet at YIH room if you are feeling kind enough to help out. We can go for lunch after that!

3) There will be the last rally of the sem and 2009, and it will be a barbecue at Pine Grove. This happens Tomorrow at any time from the afternoon to the night!
Do turn up for a fun-filled time of laughter and joy before we buckle down for the final stretch!

Everybody loves to quote Psalms 127:1. But in our modern day and age, where work seems to be the most important thing in our lives, it sometimes becomes a red badge of pride to compare how little rest we truly get. It is necessary to remember that God is the One who grants the harvest, and He’s the one who’s in charge of it all. In the old days, people considered evening the start of day, where we rested, and God did his work; Not so now, where sleep begins past midnight, and lasts for mere hours.

Trust God! Rest in his presence, and let him take care of all our fears and worries.

George McBride a Navigators missionary in ChiangMai, Thailand.  God has used him incredibly past 16 years in Chiangmai.  He and his team are reaching out to thousands of Thai Buddhist community. And he will be at NUS this Friday.  Steve graciously switched with George to speak at our rally.  Youl will be blessed and challenged.  Please tell your friends to come.  This is one rally you can not miss!!!  He is compelling story teller and you will be captivated by his stories!

On another note, we had a great time in Pulai Springs where we rested for 3 days! If you couldn’t join us for 3 days, do join us the next time we go on a trip! I think photos should be up soon!
